History
1972-1999
The Auksinės kopos holiday home dates back to the wooden houses built in 1972 in the first seaside area. They were reached by an unpaved road and the houses had no communications. It is hard to believe, but such holiday homes stood in Sventoji until 1986 when the current building of holiday home “Auksinės kopos” was built.
This was a holiday home in Sventoji that was unparalleled not only in this village but also in the whole seaside area. The 160-bed holiday home, with its suites, indoor pool with cascades, two bars, and the first bowling alley on the coast, was a surprise to many guests. The interiors were decorated with white marble and granite from Ukraine, and the pool was decorated with masterful stained glass windows! Guests were delighted by the well-kept surroundings and the morning clean-up of the beach in front of the hotel.
The Auksinės kopos Holiday Home has always been a special place where the most distinguished Lithuanian and foreign guests have stayed. Guests have been attracted not only by the comfortable holiday home but also by the extraordinary location. 1999-2020
Since 1999, Auksinės kopos Holiday Home has been owned by the Nuova group of companies.
Until 2020, Auksinės kopos operated as a holiday home in Sventoji, where whole groups of holidaymakers, both newcomers, and regulars, would come and give their children wonderful memories of their childhood among the pine trees, the water, and the sand.
2020-2023
Auksinės kopos Hotel has started a new phase of renovation, transforming the former holiday home into a 4-star seaside hotel. It is one of the few hotels located just 50 meters from the sea.
To ensure that holidays in Sventoji last all year round and to maintain the tradition of the regular holidaymakers who love the place, the renovation has been divided into several phases.
By June 2021, the interior of the rooms, the restaurant and two outdoor terraces, the common areas of the hotel, the outdoor spa area in the courtyard, and 4 spa houses will be renovated. There are 2 large car parks, new landscaping throughout the rest house, and renovated walkways. The hotel has a smart system that allows residents to check-in and check-out contactless. Room keys have been replaced with cards that also serve as identification cards for payment in the restaurant and outdoor spa area.
The second phase of the renovation is currently underway. We welcome the 2022 summer season with 4-star hotel status, fully renovated bathrooms, and air-conditioned rooms. Guests can already enjoy the free outdoor spa area with a swimming pool, sauna, and jacuzzis. A modern indoor spa, a gym, children’s and adults’ leisure areas, and 15 additional rooms with private terraces are planned to open in 2023.

“Being a seaside hotel, the location itself helped to design the landscaping in such a way that the plants would not contrast with the surrounding environment. I chose plants that are characteristic of the area and that are in harmony with each other and with the environment outside the hotel.
The hotel’s environment is designed to ensure that guests have a pleasant stay in Sventoji despite the changing weather. A gorgeous rose garden, cozy corners sheltered from the wind, a mix of blue, lilac, and white – this is the space of the Auksinės kopos holiday home.”
